My work focuses on the everyday whether it is waiting for a train, sitting on a bus, walking, eating, sleeping, grocery shopping, checking mail, or daydreaming.  These are activities that we all do but do not always think about.
Sometimes I make lists.  Sometimes I take photographs.  Other times,  I collect remnants―junk mail, receipts, bills, envelopes, packaging, photographs, and brochures. I focus on the everyday hoping it might reveal something new about myself.  We spend so much time focused on the ups and downs of life, but most of our time is spent doing these everyday activities.  Exploring the everyday is an opportunity for a different perspective on our lives as human beings in this contemporary world.
